The village of Sub Cetate sits in the foothills of the inner Carpathian mountains alongside Lake Zetea.  Odorheiu Secuiesc, which has a population of about 36'000 people, can be reached in about 15-20 minutes by car and has a full range of shops and supermarkets. A smaller range of shops can also be found in Zetea itself.
